Professional Interests: Assessment of the clinical and pharmacoeconomic outcomes of cardiovascular drugs including drugs used in the diagnosis and evaluation of coronary artery disease and to prevent atrial fibrillation after cardiothoracic surgery. Evaluation and modeling of the cardiovascular effects of non-cardiovascular drugs. Pharmacoeconomic evaluations of programs, devices and interventions designed to increase the appropriate and safe use of medications. Teaching outcomes assessment and internal medicine pharmacotherapy to students, residents and research fellows.
