The specific aims of the Administrative core are to:
- Provide overall scientific direction and leadership for the Center.
- Serve as the central administrative and coordinating body of the Center.
- Ensure appropriate fiscal management of the Center.
- Promote the Center’s mission, including its training, research, and community partnership/outreach initiatives.
- Strongly facilitate the increased involvement of under-represented minority students, faculty, and staff with the Center.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate annual strategic plans for the Center.
